What is on this site
Visitors can't upload anything to tictactoe100.com. We put everything here ourselves:
- a Tic Tac Toe game that we wrote for this site
- screenshots we took of that game running on this site
- the guide text and the site design
Tic Tac Toe is a traditional game with no rights holder. tictactoe100.com is an unofficial fan-made site.
How to send a copyright notice
Email your notice to [email protected] with "DMCA notice" in the subject. Under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), a notice should include:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or as someone authorized to act for the owner
- the work you believe is being infringed
- the material on this site that you want removed, with the page address (URL) where it appears
- your contact details: name, postal address, phone number and email address
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner
What happens next
We read the notice and check it against the material on the site. If the notice is complete and the claim holds, we remove the material or block access to it. When we need more information, we reply to the email address in your notice.
Under section 512(f) of the same law, someone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for damages. If you aren't sure the material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice before you send a notice.
Counter-notice
If we removed material that you have the rights to and you believe the removal was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it should include:
- your physical or electronic signature
- the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- your name, address and phone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where the service provider may be found), and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent
